I have a 3dnt, but I'm having trouble with the engine. I'm running the os max 90 fx-hgl with the lotterle carburator, as such I'm just running with methanol and 12% castor oil. My mixture control screw is level with the brass support and the needle is set at 2 1/2 turns open as per the manual. I don't have an Enya 4 glow plug, but I do have an os 6 installed.
When I start the model, the engine will only start if you give it a good amount of throttle, so when the engine starts, it starts slowly and speeds up to where I need to throttle down, but sometimes the engine will start strong immediately. After the engine is running it shuts down after I give the model the necessary throttle to take off.
Any advice?
