Webra .91 AAR with MC carburettor and JR 9X2 plus GV1.

    Hi there.

I Use a Webra .91 AAR with MC carburettor in my Raptor 90, I also use Futaba GV1, my radio is JR PCM 9X2. To control the mixing of air/fuel I use the 9-point curve in the gv1. It is not as simple to adjust the 9-piont curve as I want it to be. Is it possible to use one of the 2 7-point curve mixers in JR PCM 9X2 to control the mixing ratio, and at the same time let the GV1 contron the engine RPM, and how do I connect my GV1. Please advise me.

    Hello,

if you use a Govenor the Mixing has to be controlled by the Govenor.
The Transmitter doesn't know the conidtion of the Gas-Servo.
In case of this ist not possible to Mix the Cerebulator in the Transmitter.

I had the same Problem. Now i use the Govenor for the RPM and added the Webra AMC to adust the Mixing.

Sorry for my English, its not the best...

      Hi.

I know it is possible to control the air/fuel mixture with one of the 7 point free mixers that is in JR 9X2. To do that You have to locate the MXtrm menu in governor and then assign the mixer and appropiate channel. When that is done it is possible to adjust the air/fuel mixturesetting on all 7 points. But how does that work when You start flying and teh governor is in working condition. Does the air/fulel follow the stick in my transmitter or is it controlled by the governor.
      Did You ever try this?

        Hi John

You're right, you can us the GV1 to control the mix servo. In the "MxMD" Menu you can choose two types of operations - the GOV mode and the DIR mode. Finally You'll use the GOV mode to operate but you have to transfer all your mix points into the Governor. This will be done in the "MGx" Menu - here you can adjust mixing point. The points are predefined, you have to adjust these points according to your mixing curve
